Overtaking in a V8 Supercar is exhilarating at any circuit but Team BOC's Jason Bright says Barbagallo Raceway's Turn Six is the best after getting plenty of practice today.
Bright made good use of his softer-compound tyres in today's second 50-lap race, gaining up 12 places, mostly at Kolb Corner, to finish fourth.
It was a different story in race one though, despite qualifying fifth, and Bright believes that is down to tyre consistency. He eventually finished eighth after his soft tyres faded dramatically early in his stint.
The result moves Bright to 16th in the championship after a difficult start to the year and he will be looking to capitalise when V8s return to the track at Phillip Island from 18th-20th May.

"I firmly believe the tyres are very inconsistent. I drove the wheels off it in that second race and they hung in. In the previous race I nursed them and, just as I expected to catch everyone, they turned really bad. We made a small change between races but I would be amazed if it made that much difference.
"Passing all those cars in the last race was great. Our car was pretty awesome early on there especially into Turn Six. That's my favourite passing spot in Australia; my car is so strong into there, we were picking off a car a lap. On one lap I got one into the corner and another one on the way out!
"Looking at all the other races this weekend, I didn't see other cars making that much gain running the softs so I'm really happy we got it to the point we did."
