As part of the new major sponsorship deal with HIFLEX, D'Alberto, his race crew and #3 race car will visit key HIFLEX dealerships and outlets ahead of most V8 Supercars rounds.
The 'meet and greets' include autograph signings, car tours and, of course, a crowd favourite BBQ!
After only announcing the new title sponsorship deal last month, D'Alberto's first meet and greet was held at HIFLEX's Perth headquarters in Canning Vale, West Australia.
While in Perth ahead of this weekend's V8 Supercars event at Perth, D'Alberto spent time with Rick Sacco, the General Manager of Alfagomma Australia (parent company to HIFLEX), plus other key members of the HIFLEX team.
After scoring a solid top 10 finish in the last V8 race in New Zealand, D'Alberto is looking to continue that strong form at the recently redeveloped Barbagallo Raceway.
Four practice sessions will be held at Perth's Barbagallo Raceway on Friday, ahead of a unique three race weekend format (one race on Saturday and two on Sunday).
TONY D'ALBERTO (driver)
"This was our first HIFLEX branch visit and it was great to meet most of the guys from Perth," Tony D'Alberto said.
"All of the HIFLEX staff right across Australian are very keen to meet up with us, check out the car and find a bit about what we do at the race track.
"Meeting them away from the circuit before a race meeting is a great opportunity to do that. Plus, everyone loves a free BBQ!
"Our focus this weekend is to continue our top 10 momentum.
"Last year, Perth wasn't a happy hunting ground for us, but the FPR cars have come a long way, and as a team, we've improved a lot as well.
"I like the circuit. It's one of the shorter tracks, but it is quite technical. It's very rewarding when you piece together a good lap.
"I'm also looking forward to seeing the new pit facilities. The West Australian Sporting Car Club and the West Australian government have really done a great job to improve the facilities and ensure V8 Supercars remain in Perth.
"One aspect that will be a huge factor over the weekend is the weather. That is going to play a big part. The forecast is for rain, and I can hardly remember the last time we had a real wet race weekend – it has been a while! That would really make life interesting.
"But after such a competitive run in the last round at Hamilton, I'm really looking forward to getting out there – rain hail or shine."
AL D'ALBERTO (team owner)
"We're looking forward to another strong weekend," said Al D'Alberto.
"Our results in Hamilton were great and it was a good reward for our team's big efforts over the first few rounds.
"Everyone is really focussed on maintaining that momentum and achieving even better results in Perth."
